AVESTRAVEL is owned and operated by Robert Jonsson, a swedish anthropologist and birder living in Ecuador. Robert has birded for over 30 years and has for the past 15 years worked for international organizations such as the UN and Greenpeace. His interest in birds and his professional career have taken him to many different countries in Europe, North and South America, Asia and Africa. Robert has also lived and worked for several years in Ecuador, Senegal, Burkina Faso and the USA.
